Hello Everyone,

I have two Linksys wrt54gl routers running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/12/10) std. The first is running as the AP gateway. The second is acting in Client Bridged mode. Everything is running nicely.

The problem, however, is that I can't get to the web GUI on the router ating as the Client Bridge. I believe I know the IP address, but it does not respond. I cannot ping that IP (192.168.0.6). It does not show up in ARP. Thinking I had forgotten the correct IP, I ran Angry IP Scanner to try to find the IP. Nothing responded in the same subnet. I thought I read that this is a known issue, but I don't think I read the fix or work around. It would be lovely to see the GUI again to change settings, check connections, reset the router when needed.

Is there a way to see that second router - the Client Bridged router? I would rather not hard reset and muck up a perfectly good setup.

Any help would be truly appreciated.

If you plug into the client bridge, connecting the the LAN port, and type in the correct IP address of the router, you will get the webgui. With client bridge it should not matter which router you connect to - you should be able to access the client bridge router with the correct ip address. Are you sure it isn't 192.168.1.6?

I was sure I had changed the IP, but hooked up a wired computer with a static IP in the 192.168.1.x range and found the router at 192.168.1.1. Silly me.

Thanks for the help.
