Is there any way to hack it so it would support it?

I honestly don't care if it is possible to load DD-WRT, but can it be bridged with broadcom DD-WRT as it does support bridging? Sorry eko if this is a dumb question.

I cannot get my v4002 to update. It seems to allow the file to be transfered, but nothing happens after i reboot the router. I have tried generic v23 SP2 and v24. The support website says that v23 sp2 is a minimum.

Any ideas?

it's impossible, stop the thread necromancy. No one is going to support a 8 year old router.
