I recently installed v24 final on two brand new WRT-150N routers.

I am attempting to setup 1 router as a Repeater bridging my internet connection and the 2nd router in Client Bridge Mode to connect to the repeater.

I have the Repeater mode router setup with DHCP working and passing IPs to all devices. Internet access appears to work correctly for all devices.

However, devices connected to either of the two routers cannot ping or otherwise see the hardwired or wireless devices connected to the opposite router. This is causing major problems with my XBox 360 functioning as a Media Extender. It is completely unable to find the Media Desktop connected to the 2nd router.

Has anyone experienced similar issues? I am contemplating downgrading to an older version to see if the problem still exists.

Are these the only two routers you are using?

If so, why not make one a standard AP (default)w/ DHCP and for the other if you are just wanting to connect two routers wirelessly use the Client Bridge as you already have.

I don't see why one has to be repeater unless you have a third router I didn't read about.

There is a 3rd (non-DDWRT) wlan router that is connected to the cable modem, internet, etc.

So I am using router 2 as a repeater to repeat that connection, and using a DHCP server on the router 2 to create a seperate subnet for all of the devices on routers 2 and 3.

For some reason it appears that traffic is not bridged properly across the "Client Bridge" or "Client Modes" which Ive used to connect router 3 to router 2.

exact same thing happens to me.

This is my setup.

Linksys 54g original - CABLEMODEM 192.168.1.1

MY NET
---

Main router Linksys 54GS:

- receives Linksys
- distributes Gspot with WEP extending the range outside the house
- uPnP enabled, firewall disabled, router mode: GATEWAY.
- DHCP server by default as 192.168.3.xx
- Router IP 192.168.3.1

Secondary/XBOX FON 2200B:

- Receives Gspot and gives it to WLAN port for XBOX.
- XBOX shows "OPEN" NAT, uPnP works.\
- DHCP disabled, using router #2 DHCP.
- uPnP disabled, firewall disabled.
- Router IP 192.168.3.2

If clients connect to 'XBOX360' wireless network WITHIN the router #3 (XBOX) the media center extender works.

However, from clients under router #2 (54GS), no ping or we cannot see the routers IP 192.168.3.2

Here you can see, I can ping the first router, the main router (#2) and I CANNOT ping the router #3 in client bridge (FON 2200).
