Is there a way to find out the speed at which an interface is connected (10Mbps or 100MBps) after negotiation? ifconfig does not seem to have this info, and nether do any of the status tabs - unless I have missed it.
Thank you for the tip.
There isn't a "status" file, but there is a "media":
cat /proc/switch/eth0/port/0/media
10HD
However, all ports (0 though 5) return "10HD". Does this mean they are connected at 10Mbps? I know this can't be correct, because on both the WAN and LAN ports I have 10/100 devices and when I do a speed test I get more than 50Mbps. I have a WRT54G, by the way.
Thanks!

Or:
swconfig dev eth0 show
I guess it shows 10Mbit if the device is turned off, but its link is alive _________________ [Ramips] Nexx WT3020F Openwrt @kernel #4.14.167 (OpenVPN server, Wireguard server, AD blocking, SQM QOS, USB)
