Router: DIR-615/E1
Firmware: 27805
Status: BAD
Reset: No
Errors: YES

Note: Wired connections obtain IP address fine but wireless connections can not obtain an IP address. Went back to previous build (8/11/15) to get everything to work again. Haven't tried the build prior to this one yet to know if this build is the only one with the error.

Router:Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH
Firmware:09-11-2015-r27805
Kernel: 14896 to r27805
Status: Fail
Reset: Yes
Errors:
1) Wireless broadcasts, but unable to connect

2) Backlevel to 27745 failed...bricked the unit

I had to recover via TFTP via these great instructions: http://g300nh.blogspot.com/2010/06/firmware-flash-and-brick-recovery.html (linux version)

Worth mentioning the only firmware that seemed to allow me to recover the brick was the special flash: buffalo_to_ddwrt_webflash-MULTI.bin

Router: D-Link DIR 615-E3
Firmware: 09-11-2015-r27805
Status: BAD Obtained IP address, however no web-admin via WiFI and no internet via Wi-FI. WiFi network seems isolated. Wired is OK for both wired and wireless internet.

After looking over again, I can confirm there is an issue with the D-Link 615-E3 27805

I reverted back to r27700 std (08/20/15)

Last night I opened a TRAC's ticket indicating wireless in this build was not working with a Netgear WNDR3700. This morning I see the ticket has been marked as a duplicate and closed. The ticket number of the duplicate ticket is listed within the closing description of the ticket that I opened. When I look at the referenced ticket I see a comment saying "Won't Fix". The ticket was closed by the person entering the comment and then reopened.

Would someone please explain why the referenced ticket is marked "Won't fix" when there clearly is an issue with WiFi?

TIA

There is some voodoo nonsense with the way that tickets get marked in svn. Youll see that wontfix/closed/open stuff go on fairly frequently. Rest assured it's likely being looked at - the status changes (I believe) are used to keep things near top.

4858 was closed (rightly) as a duplicate of 4834. The poster is questioning (again, rightly) why 4834 has the typical invalid/wontfix/closed/reopened dance going on.

Thanks.
I think this is supposedly a way of attracting the attention of the developers.

Far from it, Access restrictions website & keyword blocking hasn't worked for about 20 builds
