TP-Link TL-WR841N V9 PPPoE-Einwahl funktioniert nicht

Hallo, ich habe folgendes Problem:
Ich habe einen TP-Link TL-WR841N V9 mit DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/22/14) std - build 25697 geflasht. Doch jetzt funktioniert die Einwahl über PPPoE nicht mehr.
Der Aufbau ist wie folgt:
Das DSL-Modem ist ein Sphairon Turbolink AR860E1-B V2 von Versatel (Modem), angeschlossen am WAN-Port des TL-WR841N (WLAN-Router). Das Modem läuft mit den standardmäßigen Werkseinstellungen. Auf dem Router habe ich folgendes eingestellt:
WAN-Verbindungstyp auf PPPoE, Benutzername und Kennwort vom Dienstanbieter, Service-Name leer, Komprimierung aus.
Lokale IP des Routers ist 192.168.0.1, Subnetz 255.255.255.0
Gateway und Lokaler DNS ist jeweils 0.0.0.0
DHCP-Server ist Ein.
Ich bekomme trotzdem keine Verbindung zum Internet.
Die WAN-Leuchte am Router leuchtet nicht. WAN-IP wird 0.0.0.0 angezeigt. Es ist, als ob der WAN-Port deaktiviert wurde.

Mit der Originalfirmware von TP-Link hat es immer funktioniert.

Was mache ich falsch? Muss ich noch was anderes einstellen? Wie kann ich den WAN-Port aktivieren?

Wieso Upgrade? Die Firmwareversion "DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/22/14) std - build 25697" ist doch schon die aktuellste Version. Oder meinst du die aktuellste Original-Firmware von TP-Link?

Edit: Sorry, habe übersehen, dass es doch eine neue Firmware-Version gibt: "DD-WRT v3.0 (05/10/16) std - build 29621" --> http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/other-downloads?path=betas/2016/05-10-2016-r29621/tplink_tl-wr841ndv9/
