This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 27783_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. PLEASE ALSO DO NOT RESPOND TO SUCH QUESTIONS! This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build.

Router: Asus RT-AC68U
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r27783 std (09/08/15)
Kernel: Linux 3.10.87 #4581 SMP armv7
Status: All working an online
Reset: No
Errors: None to report

Notes:
Upgraded from previous 27xxx build using the web GUI. Both radios were enabled in AP mode, clients connected, USB enabled, WAN disabled. no issues.

The notes says iperf update. I would enjoy native iperf in the firmware. When I run iperf from the CLI I get not found Is there something I am missing?

Mod edit: see this

Linksys EA6300 (Main Router)
DD-WRT v3.0-r27783 std (09/08/15)
Linux 3.10.87 #4581 SMP Mon Sep 7 07:22:00 CEST 2015 armv7l

Router is still having a temperature issue. 5Ghz band is disabled as I only have 2 devices that can use it. I have it sitting on a metal fan which keeps the temp around 68c overclocked @ 1400MHZ (Runs the same temp running at 800MHZ) IPV6 is enabled and working properly. Nothing else wrong with the router from what I can see. Still wish we had a resolution to the temperature issue. It appears to affect alot of people. (Linksys EA6300 was only added as a supported router less then a month ago)

Speedtest results get up to 90mbps on both IPV4 and IPV6 (I pay for 75mbps with 100mbps boost.

Linksys WRT54Gv8 (Router used for Inside Access Point)

Linux 2.4.37 #41676 Tue Sep 8 06:13:14 CEST 2015 mips
dd-wrt.v24_micro_generic.bin

Upgrading my old routers for the first time in almost 7 YEARS. Both are running as AP's. Both working perfect. WAN to LAN Switch is enabled on both. Speed test through LAN Port: http://results.speedtest.comcast.net/result/1035408024.png

I get 85mbps direct to my main router. So 83mbps throughput is dang good.
