- I have HTTP/HTTPS enabled in the web interface.
- every time i reboot, the web interface doesn't work.
- i've tried using nvram enable/commit lines per other posts but it doesn't help.

After each reboot, web GUI doesn't come up.

I then have to telnet to the box and execute
httpd restart

I am wondering it if could be a race condition at startup?

After that, the web interface comes back up.
But i continue to have the same problem with https

I seem to have a similar problem. In my case, SSH and telnet are turned off. Guess that equals bricking? Sad

Seems like so. If you are on builds 27700, 27716 or 27734, reset button does not work. You have a problem Sad

on 27734, so I'm afraid my reset button will not work, will try when home. Any advice as to how to bring this investment requirement to the lady is welcome... Wink

Had someone remote reboot the device (yes, the lady), and seems I am lucky, httpd came back up. Re-enabled ssh and telnet straight away of course...

so, i did a factory default reset. tried the following:

echo | openssl s_client -connect 192.168.1.1:443 -ssl3 2>&1 | sed -ne '/-BEGIN CERTIFICATE-/,/-END CERTIFICATE-/p'

did not return anything

also tried
grep -q "tls" /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.0 2> /dev/null && echo "TLS is supported." || echo "TLS is not available in your build."

TLS not supported for me......

can this be right? i thought this router had 32Mg flash so no reason it should not be fully optioned.

fyi - i solved the httpd startup issue by doing a factory reset and recreating the config from scratch and not selecting https. Turning off https alone, did not solve the problem.

however, the https issue is still prevalent and i guess is related to my previous comment.

still no answer why there is no tls or the certificate is not available in the build?

just tried 27858 - v3 simiply doesn't work well with this router.

Last good version for this router was v24 sp2 23-05-2014
everything after requires "httpd restart" to bring up the web interface. but the router still doesn't have SSL built in, even in this version.
