EA6300v1 is hardware identical to EA6400 and Brainslayer has added it for dd-wrt support.

EA6350 is so different in nvram function and storage that it can only be supported if a router is donated to Brainslayer.

Edit 20151112:
EA6350 is the successor of EA6200 and EA6300 (first version without version number, FCC ID Q87-EA6300) which has been discontinued.
EA6350 hardware is 100% compatible with them.

your backups do not contain any nvram data, which is required for me. so mtd1 backup is required. your cfe has no nvram data stored in it

Hi Brainslayer.

Would it be possible that you backup the pstcfg and sysconfig files from that ea6400 and post them here?

They should be on /dev/mtdblock6, wich mounts to "/var/config", or "/tmp/var/config" when running the original firmware.

Dont remember on the top of my head wich path it was Smile

Anyway, I am trying to rebuild that pstcfg file so people can go back to stock firmware if needed.
But it seems to have a format that differs from typical config files/nvram variables as I always get
something like "invalid entry in file..." when i create it, and then the router deletes it on boot

Yes, I believe there's progress...
See:

Changeset [27632] by BrainSlayer (ea6400)

and

Changeset [27640] by brainslayer (ea6300v1)

I think it's just a matter of time when a new beta arrives with support for ea6300v1 and ea6400 integrated.

Brainslayer did a good job

I have read your posts in this thread and you are annoyingly pushy for being someone not on the donation list.

Accepted Razz

6300V1 - not a question , otherwise i would post , elsewhere .

Anyway - 38 months , yes it shows it is an outstanding device, and the lesson is not too hard, i managed to use ddwrt on 6300v1 in one day, and only the stohastic fairness queue is the only feature wont work and i would use if it would.

I completely can not understand why , it modifies the protocol stack so no ASIC utilisation DMA pool modifying or anything could cause a restart...... it should be a pure software related thing.

Even overclocking works well, i recommend everyone 1ghz , a little bit warmer but ok. And dont forget to use powersupply of at least 1.5A if you do not have a bundled one, that comes with the router to be stable

The newly supported models are: EA6300v1 and EA6400v1, both have FCC ID: Q87-EA6400
Both of them are still WIP (Work in Progress) on the Supported Devices list:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices
Also see the DD-WRT changelog in my signature.

The regular EA6300 (no version) is not yet supported by DD-WRT.
