New build is up which increases openvpn throughput especially if blowfish cipher is used.

Thanks...wondering if anything has been done to address the:
br0: received packet on vlan1 with own address as source address
issue for the R7000 yet?
Thanks! Last edited by MrDoh on Sat Aug 08, 2015 22:20; edited 1 time in total

This is still slow compared to the results for the Linksys WRT1900AC and there are faster broadcoms in the pipeline. LOL

You should mention also that those results on Netgear R7000 are not from the stock 1GHZ frequency but from 1.2GHZ overclock.
Those were always the results on ASUSWRT FW, so nothing new.
Slightly better:
aes-256 cbc 29248.05k 31521.41k 32540.25k 32814.76k 32888.15k

my results were not from an overclocked netgear R7000. it is from the stock speed of 1GHz. This speed is a significant leap from previous dd-wrt build.

With 1200/800 I get:
type 16 bytes 64 bytes 256 bytes 1024 bytes 8192 bytes
aes-256 cbc 30589.55k 32118.93k 32654.88k 32799.30k 32844.20k
What memory clk freq did you set, 800 or 1000?

800MHZ. Memory clock at 1000? Are you sure?
TBH i never tried anything beside 800MHZ on DDR, but i got 1600MHZ on CPU on a RT-AC68U. Last edited by Chance on Sun Aug 09, 2015 0:14; edited 2 times in total

repeater bridge does not work on AC68. Client bridge AC68 can connect to the main router AC68. But AC68 can not connect to guest ID on the main AC68.

Wasn't sure if you are on a AC68U, the R7000 usually does 1200/1000.
Anyways at the same clock freq, numbers show that we are the fastest now:-)
Your are testing with a different openssl version by the way, obviously an older build.
Tigs posted numbers from the current releases that can be flashed on the R7000.

anyone have a copy of this build, I forgot to grab one to keep since ddup is so easy.
I'm still having reboot issues Kong even after disabling Privoxy, even on this build. Setup the router from scratch 15 days ago and it crashed and rebooted today. Config is very basic, with wifi and br1 setup for guest wifi.
I think at this point it probably hardware so going to see if i can get a replacement and wanted a copy of this build since it worked perfectly for 15 days for the new one.

The odds here are 90% being the software the reason of those locks/reboots/whatever against 10% of being the hardware, it would make sense testing another software/fw on it before making those claims, give a try on the Netgear R7000 stock FW first so you can really conclude hardware is failing.

Hi.
Updated to latest version with ddup. Running with a "dirty update", no confs resets but running smoothly.
Kong, if possible, could you link us the changelog here?
Once again, U ROCK!
