Upgrade by telnet, as usual.
@Kryptex : I prefer upgrade with telnet because I'm only on wifi. With telnet, no deconnection with the file transfer or any other thing which can corrupt upgrade.

This build seemed to have quite lower throughput than the previous build I was using (27360M), so I rolled back and all seems to be back to normal speeds.

Do not use wireless but everything else works. I live dangerously these days, no resets or 30-30-30. I'm sure one day it will brick my old router but I do need an excuse to buy a new one someday. Thank you DD-WRT for such a stable and constantly updated service you provide to us.

Errors:
I noticed that "startservice_f hotplug_block -f" seemed to be hanging and taking up a lot CPU and RAM, sometimes it actually exhausts all the RAM and causes the router to reboot after only a couple of minutes of starting up from power cycle
USB mount output within the webif has this spammed a lot of times:
Quote:
/dev/sda mounted to swap
/dev/sda mounted to swap
USB still mounts however and sometimes the startservice process does gracefully end, otherwise killing the PID saves the router from dying.
TOR does not startup on boot, even though it is enabled, no daemon is running and netstat does not show any bind to 9050, running manually works OK. Can workaround with a line in rc_startup. _________________ James

I got this build running yesterday on a WRT54GL v1.1 (./broadcom/ dir) that had been on OpenWRT (donated from a friend). TFTP'd via Serial CFE break to dd-wrt.v24_mini_wrt54g.bin, then set password, reset defaults, update via GUI to dd-wrt.v24_vpn_generic.bin, set password, reset defaults, set password, set up incl. clkfreq to 250...and good to go. Kernel 2.4.x (not connected to it now to post the specifics); tested WiFi and LAN as gateway...no issues.

I'm running a e4200 with the 27490 build and I'm not sure if I've encountered a bug with the build or a gap in my networking knowledge and doing something wrong.
I have validated that the ddwrt install guide at PIA works with my build/router for my entire network however i have possibly ran into an issue with policy based routing.
Because I only have a few machines I want to secure I'm attempting to use the Policy based routing feature within the openvpn client settings.
I enter my client IP address (10.180.24.5/24) within the policy based routing field, save and apply.
when i do this; i'm broke. I have to perform a hard reset and re-import my backup.
10.180.24.1 is router IP
10.180.24.5 is the client IP
255.255.255.0 is the subnet mask
Is it possible i'm doing something wrong here or have I encountered a bug? I wish I could offer some kind of debug but doing the steps above I have to hard reset; i can't get to the router at all.

Hi all,
I got a Buffalo WZR-600DHP2 unit, with the following release of the firmware: 3.0.b27490 07/06/15 std.
In my modest opinion, it's running well, and all general settings are active and up.
Except one.
In Services tab, there is a menu for AOSS Button.
There are two radio buttons there:
1. For making this button to Turn On/Off the Wireless;
2. To Turn Off the Wireless at boot.
No matter which combination of Enable/Disable of the radio buttons I put, the AOSS button doesn't Switch On or Off the Wireless. I press it with a single push. Or I hold it for 3, 5, 10 seconds. I restarted the router in-between too, with no luck.
PS. I forgot to tell that the Reset Button was: Enabled.
