Repeater Bridge is broken on builds r27360, r27378, r27396, and r27413 for both the Netgear R7000 and the Buffalo WZR-D1800H routers. The simple solution is to roll back the firmware to build r27343. A temporary, but more complicated way, to get RB to work on r27413 for these routers is to make a trivial change to the RB wireless properties such as setting the "Shortslot Overide" from "Auto" to "Short" or vice versa and then clicking on "Apply Settings". The RB's started working immediately and continued to work until the routers were either power-cycled or soft rebooted. Of course this assumes the RB has a static IP address and your PC has a static IP address on the same subnet as the RB to have access to its web GUI.

Once the Repeater Bridge has linked up with the host router, you will probably want to set the correct time on it without having to reboot.
Here are two ways to do this:

Manually setting time without using NTP (Network Time Protocol):
root@NetR7000RT2:~# date 2015.06.24-00:05:00 <<= Enter the correct date and time.
Wed Jun 24 00:05:00 EDT 2015

Manually setting time using NTP: (Be sure the "Gateway" and "Local DNS" fields in the RB point to the IP address of the host router.)
root@NetR7000RT2:~# ntpclient time.nist.gov; echo $?; date <<= Substitute either hostname or IP address of your time server.
0 <<= If 'zero' get time request was successful. If 'one' not successful.
Wed Jun 24 00:11:25 EDT 2015

Example of a NTP time request gone wrong:
root@NetR7000RT2:~# ntpclient 8.8.8.8; echo $?; date
1 <<= Get time request failed. IP address 8.8.8.8 is a Google DNS server not an NTP server.
Wed Jun 24 01:00:36 EDT 2015 <<= Just happens to be the correct time.

Update1:
Have discovered a better way to temporarily enable RB on this build without having to change any Wi-Fi properties at all.
Simply do an rc restart at the CLI. This seems to indicate some sort of timing/interference problem occurring during boot-up.

Using an R7000. I loaded this firmware a couple days ago and for the first time in quite awhile last night my router would not access the Internet and I had to reboot it. It's fine now and I don't have a log, but this is a little curious.
