Limiting (capping) Download and Upload speed on macs

Hello,

I am currently using dd-wrt v23 SP2 on wrt54g. I would like to limit download and upload speed on different mac addresses. Can anybody tell me how could i achieve this ? I am willing to purchase a firmware upgrade if it supports this.

Hmm you need to upgrade to v23 SP3 or v24 beta, recent versions have per MAC QoS control. To be honest I am not sure is it exclusively Special version feature or is it on free version too, but you can just try and see yourself Wink
