If any connection with that protocol is forwarded to an internal IP address... there aren't a lot of solutions...
Perhaps you might store the source IP in the rules if it's always the same...
With my suggestion for the PPTP problem you are telling the router to forward everything with GRE protocol so... you should find an information that is able to separate your cases...
BTW you might try new builds too...
Thank you for your suggestions - I'll do more inquiries about "IP-Tables"
In another Thread about the new Beta (05-09-2015-r26866) I've read that it causes a instable Internet-Connection. So I'll have to be patient for a fixed beta ...
Sorry for the late response. I put my modem in bridge mode now, and get a public IP address. Your iptable lines work nicely, thanks!
Question though: when using `nvram get wan_ipaddr`, when does this command get evaluated? Say my IP address changes from one minute to the next, does DD-WRT know that on the fly, i.e. iptables will resolve the ip address on demand? Or does the router need a reboot (if it's part of the Firewall autoboot script commands) for that?
I am currently using OpenVPN via multiple computers that I have connected to my DD-WRT v3.0-r27775M kongac (09/07/15) Netgear R8000. OpenVPN is working without issues with this build as long as the client is running on each computer directly - therefore VPN pass-thru is working fine for me.
Thanks for the reply I ended up switching to the latest FM for BS because I read somewhere that Kong is no longer actively updating his releases for the R7000. I ended up DLing the R27783 - 09-08-15 and VPN works beautifully.
