I what to upgrade from the Buffalo's Version of WRT firmware (14998). If anybody is still using this router and has an opinion of a stable community version. I would appreciate any input.

Not the latest build - But one that someone has been running for a while and is stable - I'm not experienced enough to do a lot of debugging.

look at the forum theres build threads all over it..if it scares u to flash ddwrt then maybe this project isnt for u

Not all builds behave the same for each unit, also consider community dd-wrt in a perpetual beta state, so be prepared for bugs that may follow suite with flashing a community build.

As for 14998, yes its an old build, but if it works for you then i would continue to use it, otherwise i do believe there is a more recent build on buffalo's site for that unit you could try.
