I use the V3 E2500. I flash with the FW. Then I put a version mega K3. His works well.

I wanted to test the K2.6 release. So I updated with a version K2.6 mega nv64. And my router is bricked.

Should we board a mini version K2.6 forward to avoid this ??

And how does one debricked a E2500V3. I tried with the TFTP puts me well "Transfer successful" but its not working

Ok thank you for bricked and what it is caused?

I was mega K3 26138 and I updated with K2.6 26138 mega nv64 ...

should we return to mini K2.6 before? Or you must take the nv60?

Peacock threads notes 6 & 11 are your next step, but you may need a serial connection.

If you didn't take time to read the broadcom forum announcements, your device WIKI HERE, and scour the forums for device specific threads and new builds threads to research good builds BEFORE starting to just flash away blindly, that sounds like a personal problem that could have been avoided.

If an individual doesn't understand after reading up, they shouldn't be flashing 3rd party firmware in the first place.
I would have tracked down answers about my unit like nv60k vs. nv64k prior to flashing anything!!!! looks like you flashed the wrong build (quick peek of your device wiki indicates all hardware revisions are nv60k)

i.e.
I never linked you to bad files, or made statements that were not accurate on your "can I set TX power to 250+ thread". *facepalm*

Make sure you know the nvram size of your router if is is a newer model (e2000, e3000, e4200) as you must flash a nv60 or nv64 on some of these newer router models. Also, if your router wasn't supported when 14929 or 15962 was released, or any other build you are planning to use, using that build will brick it. See note 4, below before you flash. Your router must be flashed with a build LATER in number than the build that first was used on the router by dd-wrt. This information is usually in the supported devices wiki. Look up your router and check.
...
See this thread for specific models that must use nv60 or nv64 builds:

...

excerpt above, but the peacock thread should be taken in in its entirety.

Very appreciated to the work Fractal did a year ago on this. Kind of disappointing that no one has donated one of these yet or worked a bit harder on normalizing this version of the e2500 since it is the primary market version on sale. Went ahead and flashed off dd-wrt to the tomato mod to enable the 5gHz chain and it is working perfectly. People who bricked their routers were not careful enough in understanding the differences between the nv60 and nv64 flashes.

Hi everyone,

I've got a E2500v3 that I've successfully flashed to Fractal's mini-e2500V3.bin. I want to upgrade to a mega nv60k build, but I just can't seem to find these on this site. Would someone be so kind as to point me in the right direction?

I have flashed several K26 builds to my v3 device with success, I have found in my testing that many of the K3x bins do not have working wifi on the 2.4ghz side.... the wifi adapter doesn't get detected correctly... There have been new changes and I have not tested in a few weeks, I will see if this has been corrected.
