I'm not using the WAN connection at all. The router is in AP mode that feeds with a LAN cable to Port 1, so very basic set up. Everything I use seems to be working fine.
Noticed that after I updated the router from the 6/23/14 version several days ago to this version that my android phone (4.4) wifi was hanging sometimes, and I'd have to reboot the phone for it to come back. It would say "starting wifi" or something like that when I'd go to wifi settings where you normally see all the APs available. Happened twice in less than a day.
Yesterday I told the phone to "forget" my home wifi and then connected fresh again, so far so good. Anybody else experience this?

i too found r25309 mostly stable for 1043nd v1 units. i have two of them as wired AP's to extend entwork through the house.
thanks for the tip on r25309 for wd1043v1, I too am using it as an AP, did you ever got the WAN port to work as an extra LAN port ? I never got the WAN port to work in bridge mode.
Do report back on stability of r25974 for wd1043v1. Thanks
2x 1043nd-v1 in AP mode up for more than a week. fast wifi, telnet, ssh, usb, no problems. one is doing ddns with remote ip checking. recommend doing reset before reconfiguring if upgrading - but seems like a good build..
Access Restrictions website blocking / keyword blocking not working over WiFi, but it is working fine over LAN _________________ TPLINK TL-WR2543ND (5GHz)
WRT160NL (2.4GHz)
Webflash upgrade over WiFi without 30/30/30 reset from build 23598 successful. Yeah, I know that's a little reckless but I only do this on my test router with Serial recovery pin header installed so I say what the heck
Comparing this build to build 23838
NAT speed is about 10% higher with QoS turned on
VPN client speed is slightly lower
5G Wifi is stronger but 2.4G is weaker
Bug: Wireless Mac cloning don't work, it follows WAN Mac instead
