Hello guys,
I am running a DD-WRT virtual router in an ESXi-Environment. Everything seems to be easy going with version DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/19/12) Build 18777 for more than a year now. For configuration I used this tutorial:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aa6YTny1jc
He and I are using the March x86 version of
ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/2012/
I did a lot of port forwarding configuration and stuff. And it works quite good.
But because this version is more than 2 years old and security reasons I tried to upgrade the router to a newer version. But no of 2014 eko/BrainSlayer versions seems to work after webupgrading. I got no internet connection after upgrade. Why ever. I didn't want to do a fresh install, because of all the configuration stuff. At the moment I recovered a snapshot of the old version and everything runs good again.
