I just posted couple hours ago asking about setup on WNDR 3700 and now I just got home and went to double check my router.
Well, it's NOT the WNDR.
It's a DGND 3700
The difference is that this one is a Modem + Router.
I search FAQ and the FORUM and I don't see any mention on this model witch is strange since this is a very good top of line Netgear router. Should I assume that I can try to install the WNDR 3700 dd-WRT on it?
I'm afraid on doing that and brick my router, the only one I have here now.

yeah, these types of routers are not supported. dd-wrt says no to combo devices... _________________ e3200 stock <- waiting for support

Hello, I hear that the DGND3700 is effectively the same as the wndr3700 with the addition of the adsl modem. It has a WAN port can can be hooked up to a regular modem.
Do you think this will mean I could flash dd-wrt and use it with a separate modem?
The SoC's usually aren't the same. The WNDR3700 is Atheros based, the DGND3700 if it's like the other Netgear DSL router/modems is a Broadcom 6358 or some other 63x8 variant.
Any luck with getting DD-WRT to work with the router-modem combo models? I have a DGND3700v2 and I have been waiting a long time for DD-WRT to be available for this model....
