I have 2 routers that I would be interested in porting to dd-wrt...

Netcomm 3G29WN2
Cisco 857W

I can't find any mention of the 3G29WN2 on the site, nor can I work out what chipset it is using so I don't know where to start to provide the necessary info. I'd also like to know if a firmware upgrade would allow this unit to be 4G?

The Cisco is an old unit now, but it seems like it would be a solid unit, except that is b/g only. Can a firmware upgrade make it n compatible?

They are modem/router combo. Not supported.
Firmware can't change the hardware
