Hello. I am new here and I was thinking of flashing my RT-N66R. I was wondering if someone could post me some good links to read up on. I am still very unclear about this nv ram stuff, or what builds I should be looking at to flash. I am currently running Asus' most recent firmware release. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Read the 4 Announcement posts at the top of this forum. That will be a good start.

Ready this also. http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Asus_RT-N66U
For the rt-n66u/r it's advised to telnet into the router after flashing dd-wrt and typing: erase nvram and hit enter. Then type reboot and hit enter.
User name in telnet is always root and the password is whatever you set it up to be.
