chillispot strange but serious problem

hi,
I am using DD-WRT on an asus WL500g deluxe unit and running chillispot. the unit is hosted internet connection and acting as a gateway.

client connected directly to the router by wifi or LAN, can get an ip adress and access to chillispot welcome page

i have another AP (WRT54GL, DHCP, firewall, WAN... disabled) connected to the asus (there is another swith connected to the asus to serve local client) by a LAN cable : wireless client connected to this AP cannot get an IP from chilli

anybody can help me to find a way to get it working ?
