I see from the wiki that the WHR-300HP2 is a work in progress. Any update/expected drop date for that support? Please don't flame, I know how projects go and "we have no idea" is an acceptable answer. Wink

I bought this router because it said VPN Access. My bad. If it had said VPN Passthru, my expectations would have been much different. Is there any idea if 8MB flash on the MediaTek SoC platform will be enough to include OpenVPN support? See above disclaimers. Wink

Finally is there anything developer wise that can help this along? The router is cheap enough that I'd be willing to buy a second one and start hacking away.

Can anyone shed any light on exactly how to install brainslayer software on the whr-300hp2? What order do I use the firmware update software? I have installed plenty of versions of dd-wrt on different routers. I just haven't found any documentation to guide me. Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

I just posted the following text from another thread regarding the buffalo whr-300hp2. Maybe it helps?

http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=903780#903780

It seems that the firmware-us.bin file is what to use when flashing the router.

I am only saying this because of the following forum thread.

https://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=259729

I haven't tried it myself yet. Hope this helps.

Cheers!
