I got one of these devices, and am waiting for serial do rj45 adapter to arrive so I can fully dump the boot cli.

CPU: Cavium Octeon Plus CN5020 (500 MHz) - Dual Core CPU
Flash: 8MB Flash Winbond
RAM: 512Mb DDR
2GB Flash - Disk /USB-Stick
ETH chip1: Cavium Octeon Plus CN5020
ETH chip2: Atheros AR8035-A
LAN speed: 10/100/1000

openwrt committed Cavium Support here:
https://dev.openwrt.org/changeset/37684

If there is interest I can post serial console dump
for $99 this baby could really fly with dd-wrt on it. and with Kernel 3.10.x there is support to compile this in...

Thoughts?

I will update this thread,

A device has been donated to dd-wrt to hopefully get support.

It was the edgerouter light.

now just waiting for a edgerouter pro device. attached a working image for the lite version. openssl is somewhat modified for supporting hw crypto so far.

flash this image using physdiskwrite on the internal usb stick. later updates can be upgraded with web using a separate image which isnt provided here (since its first release)

Brainslayer,

I left you a pm, do you have any flashing instruction steps for this device.

Ubiquiti shows it flashes from the cli with:

To add a new image from a local file:

ubnt@RTR:~$ add system image egdeos-120821.tar
Preparing to upgrade... Done
Copying upgrade image... Done
Removing old image... Done
Checking upgrade image... Done
Finishing upgrade... Done
Upgrade completed
ubnt@RTR:~$

In the above post you mentioned physwrite, so I was a little confused.

take the image and write it with physdiskwrite or dd plain to the usb stick which is placed inside the device. flashable tar files will be provided later when its official

so dd if=myfile.image of=/dev/sda or whatever your usb device is if you stick it into your computer
