I am waiting for DD-WRT to come out for EA6300 badly. Firstly - Linksys Fw only supports 2 DDNS services, which both are owned by DYN nowadays. Secondly, WOL is not present. So.. How can I help in your efforts?

In my opinion user should be able to revert back to Linksys Fw without bricking, so that should be paid attention to as well.

I wouldn't hold m breath. Fractal isn't responding so I'm thinking it's not a good sign.

Sorry for the delay, been finishing up some outstanding projects... I did get my EA6300, it is new and in the linksys box this time... My old one was in a cisco box.... I find that the serial pin holes on the side exist but do not have the headers attached... The spacing is vary small and may require some barry ware voodo to get pins soldered.

I can provide pictures if needed,

Installed the rom for ac68U, works fine except one thing: Router seems no response
after power down or reboot, the only way to make it back to work is hold reset button 30 seconds after plugin power.

Anyone know why?

BTw, mine is EA6300V1(EA6400)

What you mean about 'rom' ? CFE or whole trx firmware?

With the help if a fellow member we were able to restore the linksys firmware.
I had dumped my nvram through serial before flashing it.
We were able to rewrite the variables that were messed up by doing a 30/30/30.
So it works as it originally did. Just waiting on fractal now.

I pmed you all this info a few weeks ago.

I saw it, I just think to write recovery manual for Linksys EA routers.
Many people seem to have problems after 30/30/30 "Deadly Reset" or flashing the incompatible firmware...

Seems linksys ea router cannot be easy to do the 30/30/30 without opening the case. But i have no knowledge on hardware based or on the pcb. I should wait for the official 6300V1 ddwrt release.

Someone said the ddwrt does not support hardware NAT and will lose speed is that true?
