Hello everyone, today tried to flash this firmware http://www.lostrealm.ca/tower/node/79, turned out), but as it turned port van was instead lan1, WiFi is not working! In general, flashing like, fast, clear, functional ... but decided to return to ddwrt, who are interested in a photo spread in the archive.

which is jtag connector and please pinouts for jtag
thanks

1&2 is jtag for each wifi chip
3 is cpu jtag, both linksys 10-pin and std arm 20-pin

what do you mean by that? because i plan to jtag into this router and make a copy of the cfe, firmware, and nvram then send it to fractal, kong, and brainslayer.

if take cfe from ac68u and flash into ea6300 and then flash firmweare it will be work?

no

the cfe in every router is important. like very. dont you ever erase it or replace it with another cfe.

I just wanted to register to say I look forward to this, I have a EA6300 that replaced a failed WRT300N and sadly the default features are lacking I look forward to a DD-WRT port for this device. Been using DD-WRT ever since my first WRT54G and can't say enough how much I enjoy it.

Thanks!

Loading a build for another router onto the ea6300v1 is only stupid, there is much more than than cpu and wifi chips which has to be same.

With some help, I didn't do any of the work, my ea6300v1 was recovered to stock fw from the rt-ac68u flash.
Have you made any progress fractal? This router is horrible on stock fw.

Any movement on firmware for the ea6400? It looks so close to the 6700 and seems to be a 6300v2. Just wondering.

Malachi,

Can you share some of the steps you took or the serial pinout to help me restore functionality to my EA6300? I flashed the AC68U and after reboot the router doesnt work unless restored to defaults. I flashed stock FW on top of the router, and when attempting to login to the web application I get stuck at the "Waiting..." window.

Unless you did an nvram show and save the output before flashing the dd-wrt, I don't know that you can fix it.
Since restoring mine it seems I can no longer establish a serial connection. I get no output.

Is there any progress in porting DD-WRT to the EA6300? I bought this unit in a rush thinking it was included on the devices list, but was disappointed to find I was wrong. I can't really justify or really afford going out and getting another modem, especially as this seems to be a nice unit.

I would be super grateful to any developer who took on this task.

Fractal is working on it. I spoke with him last week. He has it under the knife.

So he's trying to get EA6300 working fully with DD-WRT?

That would be really nice since the firmware for EA6300 is pretty limited in what you can do.

I am having issues with my EA6300V1 where it takes a few minutes for the local connection and wireless connections to establish an internet connection...

I would turn on my computer and than the network icon would show the exclamation mark, after about a minute it goes away, but the internet still does not work for another 3 minutes or so...

this happens to both wired and wireless computers. anyone know how to resolve this issue?

I've already flashed the newest linksys fw and hard reset a couple times with no luck.
