On Ralink based units, it is only possible to use WPA/WPA2 Enterprise on physical interfaces. With newer builds like SVN revision 23503, it is completely impossible. WPA/WPA2 Enterprise advertises itself as WEP.


Example:

Router: DIR-300

DD-WRT: SVN revision 17201

Physical Interface

WPA Enterprise: Works
WPA2 Enterprise: Works, but the client must set the security to WPA Enterprise
WPA2 Enterprise Mixed: Connects with both WPA Enterprise and WPA2 Enterprise.

WPA/WPA2 Enterprice on physical interfaces does not even work if I add a virtual interface.

Virtual Interface

WPA Enterprise: Not working
WPA2 Enterprise: Not working
WPA2 Enterprise Mixed: Not working
