If you router is still a working ea6300, don't do it.

Loading a build for another router onto the ea6300v1 is only stupid, there is much more than than cpu and wifi chips which has to be same.

I think so, do you have it serial'd I had to recover a few times testing ea6500... pm me with info and we can go from there.

Yes, I've got it hooked up to serial. I did nvram show with both the linksys fw and rt-ac68u fw on it.
If course the nvram show on the linksys fw was done after flashing back from dd-wrt.
What info do you need pmed?
