habe meine dd-wrt fonera (23/03) auf die neueste version vom 20 april geflasht. leider übernimmt die dreckskiste das nicht. wenn der balken mit den- bitte 3 minuten warten weg ist und ich wieder auf die fonera komme, zeigt sie mir immer noch die alte version an. was mache ich falsch?

Hallo!

Das selbe Problem habe ich auch, hatte die Version vom 30.03. drauf und wollte über Web Gui die neuste DD-WRT Version flashen.

Muss man alles wieder über Telnet machen so wie am Anfang?

Wer kann helfen?

Ihr habt beim intitialen Flashen auf DD-WRT wohl falsche Parameter angegeben. Ich hatte einst das gleiche Problem. Richtig ist laut Wiki:

fis init
load -r -v -b 0x80041000 root.fs
fis create -b 0x80041000 -f 0xA8030000 -l 0x002C0000 -e 0x00000000 rootfs
load -r -v -b 0x80041000 vmlinux.bin.l7

naja ich hab schon ne idee wie ich euch das in zukunft erleichern kann. indem ich die redboot config beim flashen einfach selber anpasse. muß nur noch ausgiebig testen

Hi,

just added an extra switch to freifunk-easyflash which adds an extra nvram partition for use with dd-wrt. Program can be used to recover from the changed flash layout introduced by dd-wrt (I have had some user questions about this). However, it's not clear how the jffs2 function works. Currently, the jffs2 is expected to be created in the squashfs/rootfs partition as virtual partition from the kernel as it's done in openwrt. Correct?

Ah - you need the URL of course:
http://download.olsrexperiment.de/fonera/
(look for readme.txt and fonera-flash (linux) or fonera-flash.exe (windoze)

P.S: dd-wrt as of may-02 does not open firewall for 169.254.255.1 and does not have a running wifi/dd-wrt config. So you will be locked out without serial. Something to be mentioned on the fixes list...

wollte jetzt endlich meine ddwrt fonera reparieren. updaten geht ja nicht. über 192.168.1.1 und über lan kabel komme ich nicht mehr drauf. habe port 9000,22 und 23 ausprobiert. komme nicht mehr ins redboot rein. wie ist die richtige ip?

serielle konsole verwenden und du kannst immer auf den redboot zugreifen und somit immer flashen.

habe mir jetzt serielles kabel aus nullmodem kabel gebaut und angeschlossen.
welche ip usw muss ich jetzt eingeben? geht dann auch alles über putty oder brauche ich ein anderes programm für verbindung über com1?

habe jetzt endlich zeit für das manuelle update gefunden. bin aber nur bis schritt 3 gekommen

reboot

das konnte ich auch über wlan machen, ssh ist auf und funktioniert.
jetzt geht die wlan lampe nicht mehr an und d.h. bekomme ich keine verbindung zur fonera.
kann ich jetzt über kabel weitermachen? wenn ja , mit welcher ip?
als nächstes käme dann schritt 4, wo man die out.hex aufspielt.
