Linksys e4200 (bcm4718) cannot connect to internet

Somewhat of a newb to networking but I understand enough to have an idea of what's going on.

Modem: Motorola SB5110 (Comcast)
Router: Linksys e4200 (bcm4718)

Modem functions perfectly when connected directly to to a machine.

Modem and Router have DHCP enabled

I get no WAP IP

No external IP detected by the Router.

Am I doing something wrong? I'm running build v24 b.21061 but have tried flashing v24 b.16785. Have also attempted with stock FW, and a Linksys e1200 router (5357)

Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing something? Thanks

a) Make sure to reboot the modem every time you connect it directly to a new device.

b) Try duplicating the MAC of your machine that successfully gets an IP from the modem. Some cable ISP's don't let you try to change your MAC without calling in.
