Currently, I've not even unboxed the EA6700!!!
I basically purchased it as an impluse buy a weekend ago (£50/$80). I was going to replace my crappy Sky Hub router with it but I then found out that it wasnt a simple task.
I could just link it to the Sky Router & have that connect to the Fibre/Cable Modem, but it would mean having 2 routers & another ac extension lead (run out of plug sockets!)
Does the firmware link above provide the command line (Putty)? If so, I might flash the firmware to the 6700 tonight & have a bash at getting it to connect.

Google how putty and SSH works, it should work in the same way it would work on dd-wrt. BTW where did you get that router for that cheap?
Lightsword can you please advise how did you ported that dropbear to ea6700?
I would like to do the same for ea6300
lightsword didn't do it. i did and shared FW with him on another forum.
firmware mod kit (https://code.google.com/p/firmware-mod-kit/) is the toolset i used to unpack current firmware, then found out there's no dropbear in it, so i compiled sources from linksys and placed dropbear in.
1 or 2 nights figuring out how init scripts work on linksys `smart` router and happy days

I got my EA6700 router last week and I'm disappointed by the lack of Expert-Functionality.
Best Joke is Linksys's "Advanced Routing" section. _________________ here in austria we have a saying:
