There are no RH2, RH3, RH4, RH5, RH7, RG1 resistors soldered close to the connector placeholder.
Only the RH8 is there (4k7).

Do I need to solder them to be able to use JTAG?

(WRT54GL v1.0, SN#CL7A0F101902)

Nope......just solder a 12-pin header to the port. The resistors are there, plus your JTAG cable should have 100ohm resistors on TDI, TDO, TMS and TCK. We do it all the time. Go forth and debrick!!

No, I'm not debricking it (yet), I'm going to replace the FLASH chip now.
(BTW, the RAM upgrade was half-successfull: from the 64MB expected I see only 32MB available...)
