I didn't find any certain information about this exact version and I don't want to brick it.

So, is it supported by DD-WRT?

Thanks! Very Happy

Observe, this is for the "new" v5 only - the "old" v5 which is a v4 should only use v4 builds!

It seems the firmware for "new" v5.0 does not work for the v5.1. I've bricked two routers now. I did open the last one to verify that it has the same hardware as v5.0new. It's an Atheros AR9341, just like v5.0new.

Thought I'd warn anyone from trying to flash 5.1 until this has been sorted out.

The firmware I tried was the one compiled by LOM from the thread danymarc suggested.

It seems the confusion about the WR941ND is ever increasing.

According to

http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr941nd

v5.1 is supposed to be the same as v4.0. Not true in my case. Mine is similar to a WR841ND v8. But it indicates that you might find v5.1 with two different types of hardware.
