Can Any one help me.I was flashing dd-wrt something went wrong it gave me an error,I then tried to fix it trying to flash original firmware and I misclicked and Installed eoc 2610 original firmware and it gave error. My device turns on and flashes the lan led but redboot doesnt work.
Try to made a research into JTAG, there are different "programs" stored inside your device which are even more "basic" than the firmware, there are 2 of them working for different tasks, for one of them i remember someone was warning to not to touch it as it will be difficult to get a copy of it, unless you have another device of the same make and model from which you can squeeze it out.
I can't remember the links, but Googling up a bit should take you there, good luck!
However, if I recall correctly, the firmware does not have the stock redboot image in it... I might still have it here somewhere; as I had to recover one of mine a few months back... I will edit this post when I find it.
Those are RAW dumps of the stock eoc2611p; what you will prolly need is the redboot image, rootfs, and vmlinux; which you should be able to upload into redboot and burn the the appropriate locations.
Also, don't burn the entire mtd (the 8m one); make SURE you backup your cfg partition first- if you burn my config partition, you'll end up with my MAC addresses and password and whatnot.. HW reset will fix most of it, except for the MACs..
EDIT2: Here is the factory's fis list, you'll likely need to know where toe above files need to get dumped:
