Update 17 July 2013:

New AC Router build is available. Tested models R6300/WNDR4500/RT-AC66U. D1800H is untested but should also work.

RT-AC66U will only report 128MB RAM, this is because I did not yet create a special build for the Asus with HIGHMEM support.

It fixes the most annoying bugs seen on these units:

- router reboot loop, crash when qos was enabled
- bad wan-lan routing performance

I have done quite some testing this time and consider this a very stable release.

Please report back WAN-LAN speeds if you have a internet connection with >100Mbps downlink.

If I read the readme correctly, this should be able to flash to the Buffalo AirStation WZR-D1800H, right?

@okaegi,

great thanks for the test. I'll continue to search for improvements. Of course we cannot compete with OEM firwares since they are using proprietary accelleration modules that provide a lot of speed but, missing features that are needed in order to provide the functionality that dd-wrt comes with.

Asus for example lets you choose if you want to enable it or disable it which needs to be disabled if you want to use advanced qos. Once you do that Asus OEM FW is dead slow:-)

i am using the july 4th 21995 build on my wndr4500v1 and its running great. the only thing i have noticed is when using usb connected devices if you select it to share pictures, music, and videos it makes the drive show up 3 times. is there anyway to fix this or will it always be like that?

Hi Kong,

my wan-lan speeds are very different, between 60 and 109mbit, sometime peaks to 120mbit very briefly. isp gives 120 and i get 120mbit steady when i connect my desktop directly to the modem.

5ghz led doesnt work yet, no big deal

switching between wl0/wl1 on the infopage while not logged in results in an connection reset error, no big deal either.

ipv6 firewalling, I can't use ip6tables, can you include the kernelmodule in a future build?

using 22060

with kind regards

Great, finally a KongMod build for my AC devices. Installed on RT-AC66U and Buffalo WZR-D1800H, working fine. I only use them as Access Points, so I cannot provide WAN/WAN data, sorry.
Do I need to reset the devices when coming from the latest DD-WRT build? I just flashed KongMod without resetting and did not find any issues yet.
