Hi guyz!

Good news! Dont need to wait for the dd-devs. Ive spent a lot of time trying to install minidlna on my rt-n13u.b1. Tried a lot of apk and nothing. Somehow I manage to find this:

http://code.google.com/p/rt-n56u/downloads/detail?name=minidlna_1.0.24-1_mipsel.ipk

Its for rt-n56u, but i installed it and its working great on my 13u.

After isntalling optwares do:

ipkg install http://rt-n56u.googlecode.com/files/minidlna_1.0.24-1_mipsel.ipk

Happy playing!

EDIT: Fixed link. Thx martyres

I followed the setup on wiki page of the asus rt-n13u. Install all the basics and then install this minidlna.

Wiki page should be updated because this package works.

Which version you used?

I used the last version (21286) and got this error
Code:
root@DD-WRT:/opt# ipkg install http://code.google.com/p/rt-n56u/downloads/detail
?name=minidlna_1.0.24-1_mipsel.ipk
Downloading http://code.google.com/p/rt-n56u/downloads/detail?name=minidlna_1.0.24-1_mipsel.ipk
ipkg: invalid magic
root@DD-WRT:/opt#

Worked like a charm. Thank you facsi.
I have 1TB drive with video connected to the router. Panasonic is connected to router via ethernet cable.

Videos through dlna play choppy, even small duration ones.

Is there some setting I am missing or is this due to the router not having enough juice?

Is there a way to get videos to play smoothly?

Also, I noticed if I have directories that were created in Windows on the attached usb drive, with blank space in the name they dont show up. Is this due to Unix naming convention?
