Hello,

I have installed the dd-wrt.v24-17990 version file in my new ASUS RT-N12B1 router. But I don't see the QoS section for bandwidth limit by Ethernet ports.

Is the QoS feature of bandwidth limit by Ethernet ports only available in the pay-version ?? how much ?

Thanks in advance.

To my knowing, its not available for that unit, only for k2.4 units such as older wrt54g style units.

Ya pretty much anything over the WRT54G don't have it anymore not even a WRT160N. Set a static IP to the clients you want to be shaped then QoS them by IP, not MAC do not EVER, use MAC for QoS.

You can safely prioritize by mac-adresses. It works as good as by netmasks.
