Hello Fractal,
I test this firmware with a E2000 and a E3000. Connected together with WDS no problems. Good Wireless speed. Only the wan speed is lower normal 120MB-100MB now max 70MB

Running it on my Linksys E900 and it seems that there's still the Wireless N and firmware upgrade bug. However aside from those two problems, initial testing is pretty good. Let's see how it is by the end of the day. If anything pops up, I'll report back.
Edit: Port forwarding is not working? According to some tests I did, it seems that all the ports that I forwarded are still closed. I double checked to make sure that I enabled port forwarding.
Port Forwarding appears working fine for me with the 20656 Fractal build and linksys E2000..
How are you checking to see if port forwarding is working correctly? Entering the port forward into the gui config, then going to a port checker web site to see if its forwarded will not work, you have to forward the port (gui or otherwise) and then have the service that uses the forward active and then check, otherwise the port will remain closed and should as its not actively in use. Ports will remain closed while something isn't using it - and should remain closed - otherwise you are looking at big security compromises. _________________ Wireless N Config | Linking Routers | DD-WRT Wiki | DD-WRT Builds | Peacock - Broadcom FAQ

Hello Fractal,
I have problems with the wds. When i use one router and two wds clients then first with reboot they connect correctly. When the first in the list have a connection lost it don't connect anymore. Only after a reboot. When i go back to 16785 then i have no problem.

I also tested it with ASUS-RT N66U dd-wrt.v24-20656_NEWD_2_K2.6_mega-RT-N66_64K.trx and it's a no go. Router locks up. What a bummer
I flashed my RT-n66u with this build and runs great. No problems yet.
Do u have otrw take2 installed?, router locks up when I try to access that portion of the usb drive
No otrw and flash card installed.
I have a question: RMerlin backported OpenSSL 1.0.1 ASM optimizations in his Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.246.19 firmware for Asus rt-n(ac)66u with higher AES and SHA1 performance. He included a before/after comparison. I was wondering if such optimizations are possible for DD-WRT?
Hey Fractal - running perfect on my N66U with 64 CFE, thanks!
Only issue I'm seeing is the OpenVPN status page is lacking the log content that's normally there. Is this a screw-up by me or an issue? Either way it's running rock-solid.
EDIT: Nevermind, got it all fixed with
Code:
management localhost 5001
in the config.
Weird, didn't need it before. But it works great now.
Upgraded my E4200v1 via the web gui using the mini build. Did not do any resets or 30/30/30-things. Upgrade went fine.
Did not do any extensive testing. Settings were ok after the upgrade. All clients connect without issues and performance did not change (using speedtest provided by my ISP).
So I don't know if this upgrade is a positive one for me or not, but at least I want to let you know that it didn't break my E4200.
Thanks for the effort, new builds are appreciated!
Shouldn't dd-wrt.v24-20656_NEWD_2_K2.6_mega-RT-N66_64K.trx be placed in the special 64K folder? Because it requires the CFE upgrade?

I checked by enabling and forwarding the port in DD-WRT GUI. Then I just Googled a site to check the ports. Now I know! _________________ ASUS RT-N66U
