And was able to flash it correctly. It seems to work properly, except for WPA2 Enterprise authentication. It is suppose to authenticate back to a radius server. It worked once, but it has not worked since. Any idea as to how to get it to work? I am not seeing it connecting to the radius server on the back end...
I am using the 18777 build as an access point and print server. I got about 20% more bandwidth on Wireless compared to Belkin's stock firmware. I have been using it for a week and I have no problems. Only LEDs don't function correctly: On a reboot, you'd get 2 purple LEDs but that's OK, no harm.
From what I know, PPPoE is still not working on pre-SP2 builds. I tried it with the same build on my main router (DIR-300's specific build). I prefer if you'd wait for a stable version.
I didn't know they existed yet. But I am not likely to test them because my main router is working fine and I'm only waiting for the next stable version.
I just wanted to say Thanks for the firmware. My bro-in-law has this router and it could barely handle 2 xbox 360s and a laptop. Now it can handle 4 360's and 3 laptops without issues and it runs great.
Does anyone know if the newest build supports the 8366SR chipset yet? Has anyone tried it?
Anyone know of any progress on the SR chipset? I found this post http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/1997 from sixteen months ago that made it sound easy... Wish I was a coding expert...
tftp-hpa is not the easiest tftp server to set up, one has to edit config and scripts file first.
There is from what I can see no linux gui based tftp servers like tftpd32 for windows.
Here is a revert file which should work, unpack the binary from the rar archive and upload it via wireless to dd-wrt firmware upgrade gui page.
Can this be used to revert the F5D8235-4 v3?
I am having issues with DD-WRT dropping out on my router and need to revert it.. if not can you possibly create one for it? I've uploaded the original F5D8235-4 v3 firmware..
The best way to configure the non-AP mode is to go here: http://192.168.1.1/Site_Survey.asp and click "join" for the desired SSID. Also, someone mentioned that since there is no client bridge mode, you need to use Repeater bridge and just disable SSID broadcast. I haven't tried it myself with this model yet.
However I've encountered some troubles of my own running the latest 06-08-12-r19342 on my Belkin F5D8235-4_v2 -- terrible range (max 10 meters) and it won't negotiate 300Mbps with a 300Mbps N+ laptop sitting right next to it, only gets 150M. Has anyone gotten 300M out of this thing on DD-WRT? What operating distances are you achieving? Just wondering. _________________

I have tried several builds (18xxx and 19xxx) with no luck. It never connects.
Cheers,

I don't know Astrill VPN server, but if it has MPPE encryption enabled the ddwrt client can't connect because the mppe module is missing. Try disabling encryption on both sides just to see if it connects.
Gathered from OpenWrt:
- wired/wireless leds are controlled via bit shift register sitting on gpio pins 14 (ctl) and 4 (clk)
- speed leds are controlled via bit shift register sitting on pins 17 (ctl) and 18 (clk)
Some notes:
- restore config function doesn't work properly, the router get stucked.
- PPPoE doesn't work with preselected want port, bridge port must be selected for wan, br0
- current firmware level is more to instable to use it for a long period of time, if there will be any new releases and if the time permits I'll test them.

I saw Eko post in the Broadcom thread for the v3 of this router that he has code/drivers/something available to handle bit-shift registers on GPIO ports like these.
Any chance we can get these functions enabled? Is there some config flag in NVRAM we can edit to set which GPIO does what? Can someone write a small daemon to drive the "Bandwidth" meter?
