Hi All.

I am trying to setup a nursery cam with a Foscam FI18910W to be accessed from internet.

I have issues when it comes to setting up the port forward part. I've tried different ports, even checked with my ISP for blocked ports (they replied none are blocked).

I got the Camera with a Static IP and on the NAT/QOS I have the port I selected (92) forwarded and enabled.

Now everytime I try to access through browser with http://MyISPip:PORT it times out.

On the flip side I can access and view the camera feed with no issues with localIP:port.

Router is a Netgear N600 with DD-WRT 17990 build.
ISP is Time Warner Cable.

Any clues on what I could be doing wrong?

OK, so could someone enlighten me here.

If I type on my browser within the LAN the WAN IP. Should it take me to the router login page? or does that only work from outside the LAN?

After double checking some settings now I go to any Open Port Check Tool and no matter what # I use, it shows:

Success: I can see your service on 72.182.XX.XXX on port (92) Your ISP is not blocking port 92

So that means that the port forward functionality is there right?

Still when I try to access the ISPip:port on the browser for see the live feed it times out.

Could it be a loopback issue related to the router?

I now can access the camera from the internet IP address Very Happy by using http://myISPip:port

I was able to assign a no-ip.org address and it works as well.

BUT all this is in another router without DD-WRT!!! Shocked (D-Link 635 on stock firmware).

So definitively this is an issue with either the firmware build for the Netgear WNDR3400 N 600 router (I'm using a mini build 17990). I read a loopback issue on another post.

Arrow Anyone aware of any fix for this or another build that works??

or

Arrow Is there some option along the firewall settings that I have to activate in order to allow incoming connections??
