With so many Fon questions how come there are no Fon Sticky's...Unless I am missing something. I am having connectivity issues and I have noticed many posts on the topic but nothing really compiled like there is for WRT54GL. I am guessing because Fon's are not as popular?

Anyway I have tried...
My ISP doesn't authenticate Mac Addresses
Changed the firmware to 0310
Reset
Changed to Static IP
I don't know what else to do.
It connects fine but no internet, so local lan only.
It's strange because I have never had this happen before and I am searching for a troubleshooting page or post and can't find anything. Oh well back to the drawing board.

Clone you mac to what your isp has had before for you, thats easy.
Set your router to dhcp so your isp can lease you an ip.

LOL I agree, some of the questions are very random Laughing

I am running Verizon Fiberoptics and as far as I know I dont need a mac address to authenticate. I switched from Dlink to my WRT54GL seamlessly. No problems at all with that but now I have it connected this way....

WRT54GL--->Linksys Switch--->Fonera

I attatched the Fon to make a public access point by itself without any security. I had this setup back when the Fon had its original firmware and it connected fine, after flashing it says Local only, with the internet light flashing. I have tried Static, PPPoe (my router is set to that) and DHCP....no internet Sad
