Settings in Services - NAS:

ProFTPD: Enable
Server Port: 21
Files Directory: /jffs
Allow Write: Disable
User Password List: root admin
Anonymous Login (Read-only): Disable

Using filezilla successfully access the server, but it gives an empty file list. What is the Trouble?

do you have enough memory under /jffs to store files? correct me if I am wrong but isn;t that using your internal router memory as the mount location? to use FTP effectively, I would think you would need to make the FTP root a USB connected drive.

In general, I want to get access to the file system router, how to do it? I thought that it should work

I am confused as to what you want to do. Also, what router do you have and what firmware are you running?

FTP is for sharing files to and from your server. your router can act as an FTP server and you can upload and download from it-useful if you want to share some files with others. of course this works better if you have a big drive to share connected via USB.

I you want to get access to the file system and maybe edit some config files, then you might be wanting to SSH into your box and use something like WinSCP or Putty to get access to the actual file system. In order to do this, you need to enable telnet or SSH. This is different than FTP though-it;s secure but slower than ftp and not meant for large file sizes.

Solved the problem via SSH, thanks for the tip.
