Router: Linksys WRT54G Version 5.0
Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (07/07/09) micro-build 12548M NEWD Eko
CPU Model: Broadcom BCM5352 Chip Rev 0
Router Mode: Client Bridge

I can get to the router via my browser but I've tried everthing under the sun to telnet to it with no luck.
I've tried multiple different computers running both Windows 7 and XP. I've tried the dos telnet and the "hyperterminal" version.
I've tried making the user name and password really simple, like A and A...
Telnet finds the router just fine.

But It just keeps telling me "login incorrect"...

What am I missing??
thanks,
Tom

the user name for telnet is always "root" (no quotes) no matter what you may have setup in the gui. The password is the password you have setup

user = root (always)

password = whateveryousetup
