Same thing with stock firmware before I add heat sinks. Wired connection works but wireless can't connect. Just save settings and it'll work again. It'll happen after client is connected for a few hours. With heat sink, never happened again.

same problem here with my TP-link TL-WR941ND V3.6
Router model TP-Link TL-WR941ND v2/v3
Firmware Version DD-WRT v24-sp2 (11/21/10) std - build 15778
I can't make it work on N wireless ! Options i tried :
1)n and ng-mixed at Channel Width 20 , 40, dynamic 20/40
without any wireless security (disabled security mode)
2)n and ng-mixed at Channel Width 20 , 40, dynamic 20/40 with security options: WPA+AES , WPA2+AES WPA mixed + AES
with all this setting i tried the wireless status on dd-wrt panel said i have N rate speed ,,,,but few minutes or seconds later when i try the internet on my N laptop (has intel 5100agn - linux OS)the wireless and wired connection going off ,,,i can't receive any IP and i need reboot the router via unplug it and plug it again
for my G laptop (has Broadcom - windows xp OS)i am be able to lunch internet for more minutes but when i try test the speed via www.speedtest.net cause the same ,,,problem !
With WPA,WPA2 + TKIP all work as far perfect ,,no any drops on wireless and wired connections .Set the settings NG-mixeg and Channel Width: turbo(40mhz) give me Super-G the best rate i could have
I know i can go back on stock firmware but i like dd-wrt more and i will wait a solution
This is my first post on forum soo ,, graz for the good work guys !!!

After 30 days the wifi became unstable. Windows7 x64 on my Aspire with wireless N would not browse samba shares. Android wifi N phone intermittently would connect to XBMC as a remote. Rebooted Win7 but black screen because it could not pull an IP, until I rebooted the router.

Jesus, the wifi radio does not even come ON with the 18007 version.
The reset sequence bring the radio on but its just that once the router is setup for Wireless N, and a few other changes that the recent firmware handles for 30 days, the radio goes, off never to turn on again. Having the radio on after a clean reset does no one any good. I changed the default LAN IP, setup Wireless N with AES, Turbo , channel 11, lower, and use DYNDNS,with a spoofed MAC addy. Those are the only changes I can think of atm.

I have 2 of the E3s running 15778 at work, and 2 E3s running the same at home.
The E3s at home are rock solid - one is the gateway, the other is an AP. At home there is no domain server, only a few PC's connecting through the gateway - either on the wire, or wireless
However, at work the E3s are APs on the same subnet, coexisting with a domain server (W2K3). One E3 acts to extend the wired network as a DHCP forwarder. Call this one ServeIn AP.
The other E3 is plugged into a port of the ServeIn E3, and is setup as a DHCP server which is assigned a range of IPs outside (>=130) of those assigned to the domain server (<=129). Call this E3 ServeOut.
The problem is, after about 1-2 weeks of service, ServeOut goes down - however it appears normal when Info page is viewed. To restore performance I must cycle power first on ServeIn and then cycle power on ServeOut. Then all is well for 1-2 more weeks.
I began to suspect a Droid phone issue, but this problem seems to happen very consistently.
It seems the E3s go to sleep, and they cannot wake up.
Any help on the above is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
jtleon
