WRT54G V7 + DD-WRT Soft?

Ich hab folgendes Problem:

Ich brauch den WRT54G Ver 7 als Repeater um mich mit einer Fitzbox zu verbinden die den Internetanschluss verwaltet.

Jedoch kann ich mit der Standartsoftware des Linksys da wenig anfangen, da diese eine Repeater funktion nicht unterstützt, soweit wie ich gesehn habe.

Mit DD-WRT Software soll das aber gehen, oder?
Nur hab ich mnich bisher noch nie mit alternativ software beschäftigt und hab nun nach 5 stunden Suchen auch noch nichts weiter groß rausgefunden.

Kann ich auf dem WRT54G Ver 7.00 die alternativ software benutzen?
