I bought this router expecting to see a significant boost in the overall performance of my wireless network. Unfortunately, I am afraid its factory firmware does not allow me to take advantage of all its capacities. Certainly, dd wrt firmware would allow me to do much more with the router that I currently can.

I thank you all in advance for your time and I look forward to seeing this amazing router in the supported list.

Hi Markus,

Ive checked the link you posted above. It is about the TEW-691 not Tew-692gr. Besides, even though the TEW-692gr is mentioned, they mistook its chipset brand and said it was from Realtek when indeed it is Ralink (Ralink RT3883. So mabe that makes a difference.

Thank you for your time

I also own this device, and must say it is amazing!

The Wireless range and speed is awesome compared to my old boxes (ASUS WL500G-Deluxe,Edimax BR-6574N).

Would be nice to have dd-wrt on it.

If this device is dd-wrt portable maybe we could start a donation action for a development-device?
