In vielen Foren-Beiträgen gings es schon um die WLAN-Nachtschaltung.

Scheinbar konnte keine Lösung gefunden werden, oder doch?

Wer weiß mehr darüber?

Bei mir ist folgendes Problem:
Firmware-Build: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (02/17/11) std

bei den Befehlen in der Kommando-Zeile:

/usr/sbin/iwconfig ath0 txpower off

kommt folgende Syslog-Ausgabe:

Wie ihr seht, hatte ich es mehrmals probiert, auch per Telnet.

Das WLAN wird aber wieder automatisch angeschaltet.

Wie geht es hier weiter?

geh doch erstmal auf das aktuelle Release DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/14/11) std

Hier sollte sich doch mit cron problemlos was machen lassen, ich versuchs nachher mal auf meinem

Mit der der neuesten Firmware (17201) ist es dasselbe.
Wlan wird nach ca. 1min wieder eingeschaltet.

Habe Fortschritte gemacht:

Zuerst den Adapter mit ifconfig ath0 down herunterfahren.

Der Adapter ist jetzt abgeschaltet, jedoch vermute ich, dass trotzdem gesendet wird (Sendeleistung 20 dbm in laut GUI)

Danach also mit iwconfig ath0 txpower off die Sendeleistung abstellen.

Dann sollte das Ding aus sein, ob tatsächlich nichts mehr strahlt, kann ich nicht sagen, da müsste wohl wer nachmessen.

Der Befehl ifconfig ath0 up reaktiviert automatisch auch die Sendeleistung.

Das ist prima.

Die Befehle funktionieren.

Leider habe ich es noch nicht hinbekommen, das als Cron-Job laufen zu lassen.

So geht's jedenfalls nicht: z.B.
00 20 * * * root /usr/sbin/ifconfig ath0 down
01 20 * * * root /usr/sbin/iwconfig ath0 txpower off
30 06 * * * root /usr/sbin/ifconfig ath0 up


Auch das weglassen von root /usr/sbin bringt nicht.

In der Konsole funktionieren die Befehle einzeln.

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe es Dank User "bohea" http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=679039#679039 geschafft eine Nachtabschaltung an meinem TR WL1043 zu realisieren.
Ich habe ein TL-WR1043ND der durch den unten beschriebenen Eintrag nun zeitgesteuert das WLAN an und aus schaltet.
Wer nicht so viel Sendeleistung möchte, ersetzt unten einfach den Wert txpower 20(100mW) z.B durch txpower 10 (50mW).
Die resultierende Sendeleistung kann in der Konsole (putty telnet auf 192.168.1.1 und mit User root und Deinem Passwort einloggen) und dem Befehl "iwlist txpower" kontrolliert werden.

Einrichten der Nachtabschaltung:

Im DD WRT Menü (Browser) wähle Registerkarte Administration und dann Management
Im Bereich "Cron" wähle "eingeschaltet"
in der Box daruter gib ein:
00 23 * * * root /sbin/ifconfig ath0 down; /usr/sbin/iwconfig ath0 txpower 0
30 06 * * * root /sbin/ifconfig ath0 up; /usr/sbin/iwconfig ath0 txpower 20


Dann unten auf den Button "Anwenden" klicken.
Die Box startet und liest die neuen Daten.

Das Beispiel oben schaltet den Router um 23 Uhr aus und und um 06 Uhr und 30 Minuten wieder ein.

Die erste Zahl sind die Minuten die zweite Zahl sind die Stunden. Wer das am Wochenende anders machen möchte, kann anstelle des 3. Sterns 1-5 eingeben und dann die Zeilen mit anderen Uhrzeiten darunter setzen und anstelle des 3. Sterns 6-7 eingeben.

Servus,

Konntest du schon Testen ob mit den Kommandozeilen rigeros, also auch wenn sich noch jemand im wLan befindet, abgeschalten wird?
Für mich völlig unverständlich warum diese simple Funktion heutzutage nicht zum Standard in Router-Sw gehört...!? Die Hardware gibt es ja offensichtlich her...

dieses feature ist imho sinnfrei.
das ist keinerlei sicherheitegewinn.
und wenn du das teil im schlafzimmerstehen hast musst du dir mal grundsaetzlich gedanken machen.

Habe nun mal einen Test gemacht mit der 18777 Build. (komplett neu aufgesetzt)

Das Abschalten funktioniert zuverlässig.

Das Anschalten soweit eigentlich auch, aber leider ist dann die Wlan-Verbindung nicht stabil.

Die Clienten verlieren ab und zu die Verbindung.
Ohne die Wlan-Nachtschaltung läuft sonst alles stabil.

Ich habe mal einen Syslog angehängt.
Wlan geht um 22 Uhr aus und um 6:30 Uhr wieder an.

Hier irgendwo im Englischen Teil des Forums kam der Hinweis, das jemand nach dem Anschalten des Wlan per Cron einfach einen automatischen Reboot ausführt.

Und siehe da, so geht es.


30 21 * * * root /sbin/ifconfig ath0 down; /usr/sbin/iwconfig ath0 txpower 0
44 05 * * * root /sbin/ifconfig ath0 up; /usr/sbin/iwconfig ath0 txpower 21

21:30 Uhr -> Wlan aus
5:44 Uhr -> Wlan an

und einen automatischen Reboot täglich um 5:46 Uhr.

So geht es bei mir zuverlässig..
Im Moment mit der r21061 - Version.

Hallo,

ich hänge mich hier mal dran um zu fragen, ob man auf diese Weise auch einen 3G-Stick nachts abschalten könnte? Und wenn ja, wie genau die Syntax dann aussehen müsste.

Sofern relevant: TP-Link TL-WR1043ND mit DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/14/11) std und WAN über 3G-USB-Stick im stabilen Dauereinsatz.
