I probably can provide many, for the site's entertainment?
Most of the mods here show up in message posts as a "Guru". Then we have "well informed" posters that also show up in posts as a "Guru".
Is there some reason both "Mods" and "Guru"s can't exist at the same time?
It's really nice to know who your talking to. I weigh both sources of information as being excellent but I would walk a little slower, if I figured I'd piss off a mod.

Moderates have access to move posts, delete posts (rare), and lock posts. They "moderate" when necessary, when a thread gets ugly or out of control. Their handles are green when they are logged on.
They can not ban anyone.. However, they can suggest that a member is banned to the administrators.. If they do so, that will probably happen.
Guru's are anybody with over 500 posts.
So.. a guru may talk a lot (like me), but not know what the hell he/she is talking about (like me), and after 500 posts, you become a guru.
The mods have become mods because they deserve it due to their contributions to the forum.
keep posting.. you will be a guru too.
Some contributing members may have been asked to be a mod and declined. _________________ [Moderator Deleted]
Not all gurus are well informed. Neither are all mods.
A guru is often just a noob with a posting disorder. _________________ SIG:

True that. But at least moderators try.

As often is the case. Some "gurus" try to stay informed, so that the proper information can be passed on to others. I try to only post about those topics I know and leave the rest to others. _________________ E3000 22200M KongVPN K26
