Does anyone else here have the EnGenius 9850 ? We've donated a device to DD-WRT put we've seen no response from them at all.

Details here
http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=69212

If there are more 9850 users out there that could lend a voice of support we might be able to at least get the device onto DD-WRT's "waiting" list.

It is very unlikely that ESR-7750 will get dd-wrt support.
With its dual cpu setup there is no similarity to the other Senao RaLink based routers..

BUMP for the EnGenius 9850 DD-WRT project! My "stock" one is losing wireless Internet connectivity on average of once or twice a week...hoping dd-wrt fixes it.

A quick question for anyone that has donated a router to the cause. Have you always received confirmation that the router did in fact arrive where it was meant to arrive and that someone from DD-WRT has it ?

I ask because we've had no official confirmation that anyone received the router. I'm trying to work out if that is strange or wehther it's just the DD-WRT way.

This is odd. I have three of them (two working and one bricked for the cause) and the two working ones are rock solid both in wireless and wired connections.

Have you tried the latest firmware from Engenius?

i had no issue with the wireless conection on both my routers. i am missing a more feature rich firmware on this device.
i would appreciate if there would be a dd-wrt built for this unit

JDickiez got a confirmation that our donated unit reached the DD-WRT guys, but that was all info we ever got.
