Hello,

I own a fon wireless router.
I have just finished instaling dd-wrt on it.

I start to set my wireless security settings.
I disable a few services like ssh, telnet, ...(why whould i need them anyway Rolling Eyes )

But, for some strange reason i cannot connect to my router using my Wireless nic thats is in my laptop. I must have misstyped my WAP key twice.

Ive tried to press reset button for 30 seconds,

ive tried to : press reset, pull the plug (keep resetting) , insert the power cord again and reset for 30 seconds.

That did not work.

So ive got a router with no ssh or telnet access where i cannot connect wireless to.

I can connect using lan cable.
ive scaned the router for open ports. (maybee its some help)

Anyone has a clue on how to get acces to my router ? :)

//if a building a serial console with an MAX3232 i sthe only solution i will do that.
// But i rather not do this Smile

try HTTP to port 8080 on the wired port. Set your NIC to 169.254.255.2 and then http://169.254.255.1:8080

set your NIC to 169.254.255.2
start pinging 169.254.255.1
power on your fonera
as soon as you get a response from 169.254.255.1
telnet to 169.254.255.1 on port 9000
putty is the best choice in my opinion because windwos telnet doesn't work for everyone
once connected erase nvram with
Code:
fis erase -f 0xA83D0000 -l 0x00010000

now your fonera should be at deaults
